Terms and Conditions of Sale

‍Article 1 : Offer
‍1.1 1.1 Nantes Private Chauffeurs allows individuals and professionals to benefit from a service tailored to their needs for their travels, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, in a vehicle with a maximum capacity of 9 passengers, including the driver.

Nantes Private Chauffeurs holds an internal transport license issued by the Regional Directorate of Equipment of Loire-Atlantique and is registered in the register of operators of chauffeur-driven cars.

Article 2 : Booking of a Service
2.1 Reservation
Regardless of the type of reservation, the client must provide the following mandatory information:

Customer Information: Name and surname, phone number, email, and residential address.
Service Details: Date, starting and ending location, number of persons, luggage or not, luggage with exceptional dimensions or very large volumes, the need for a child/baby seat.

Reservations can be made by phone or email. This must occur at least 2 hours before the desired start time of the transportation service, subject to vehicle availability. Phone reservations are considered orders.

2.2 Price – Payment conditions

2.2.1 Price determination
All routes reserved by our clients are calculated by the Google mapping system.

Changes in routes and detours resulting from events beyond the client's control (including construction, weather, detours, traffic jams, accidents) will not be billed. However, these events cannot be grounds for complaint. Changes in routes and detours at the client's request are generally not allowed. However, the driver, in agreement with the management of Nantes Private Chauffeurs, may accept such a request if it does not impact the smooth operation of the business, such as a delay in picking up the next client. Any change in route or detour requested by the client will be subject to additional billing, the amount of which will be determined based on the distance and any waiting times.

All prices are set and payable in euros (€). The base price is determined by the current tariff grid at the time of the order or the estimate provided by Nantes Private Chauffeurs prior to the service. Any waiting caused by the client during the service will result in additional billing per quarter-hour started. When the client orders a ride from the airport, it is particularly recommended, at the time of booking, to take into account the time required for disembarkation and baggage retrieval before determining the departure time of the ride.

The transport of luggage does not result in a surcharge for the service. However, they must fit in the rear trunk of the vehicle and be of a reasonable size, not compromising the safety of passengers and the driver. The number and nature of luggage accepted on board the vehicle are subject to the driver's discretion. The charged price corresponds to the price announced at the time of the order. However, this price may vary in exceptional circumstances.​​​

2.2.2 Payment methods
Services reserved by the client must be paid online upon reservation validation or directly to the driver after the ride. The accepted payment methods on board are:

For legal entities, payment by bank transfer is accepted.

2.2.3 Deposits
For any order exceeding €100 including VAT, a 30% deposit will be required.

2.3 Cancellation Conditions
In case of cancellation by the client:
No deposit will be refunded.

Less than 24 hours before the start of the service: the total amount of the service will be invoiced.

In case of cancellation by the Management, the client will be notified 24 hours in advance, and no compensation can be demanded.

2.4 Modifications
Last-minute modifications will be considered only based on possibilities and may result in additional charges or cancellation fees.

Article 3 : Obligations of the Parties
Nantes Private Chauffeurs undertakes to make every effort to transport the passenger to their destination under the best conditions of comfort and safety and within the specified time frame.

The responsibility of Nantes Private Chauffeurs covers direct bodily harm caused to passengers from boarding the vehicle to disembarking, excluding both actions. Nantes Private Chauffeurs cannot be held responsible if the damages are caused by the actions of the passenger, a third party, or the nature of the luggage and/or their packaging.

Nantes Private Chauffeurs has professional liability insurance for paid passenger transport.

No compensation or refund is granted for delays in transport due to traffic difficulties (traffic jams, road closures, accidents, detours, weather conditions, various events, etc.). Nantes Private Chauffeurs cannot be held responsible for any delays initially attributable to the passenger. Nantes Private Chauffeurs is not responsible for objects and/or luggage left in the vehicle. Each passenger must check before leaving our vehicles if they have all their luggage.

Nantes Private Chauffeurs cannot commit to more than twenty minutes of waiting without prior notification. After a waiting period of twenty minutes without prior notification, the driver is entitled to consider the reservation canceled. The ordered service will be invoiced in full.

Article 4 : Miscellaneous Provisions

As part of health measures and in accordance with current rules, we can no longer accept passengers in the front of the vehicles. Hand sanitizer and masks are available free of charge. ​

All passengers must fasten their individual seat belts.

Nantes Private Chauffeurs provides free baby seats and boosters, up to 2 per vehicle.

Nantes Private Chauffeurs does not apply any surcharge for luggage. In the case of too many or oversized luggage, please report it during the reservation.

In the event of vehicle damage, such as the untimely opening of doors, the damages caused will be the responsibility of the client.

If the driver notices that the client is committing an offense, such as the use of narcotics, he has a strict instruction to immediately stop the ongoing service. This stop will not entitle the client to a refund of the service.

Nantes Private Chauffeurs reserves the right to interrupt the ongoing service if the behavior of the clients jeopardizes the safety and dignity of the driver and/or the image of the company.

Eating and drinking in the vehicles are prohibited.

For safety reasons, smoking, transporting flammable, explosive, corrosive, or toxic substances, and generally any dangerous goods are prohibited. It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure that their luggage does not contain such substances. In case of damage caused by luggage or passenger behavior, Nantes Private Chauffeurs' responsibility cannot be sought.

The content of luggage placed in the trunk of the vehicle, especially fragile or delicate items, remains solely the responsibility of the passenger.

Nantes Private Chauffeurs cannot be held responsible and cannot guarantee the return of personal effects and luggage left or forgotten on the vehicle, nor the condition in which they might be found.

Article 5 – Complaints
Any complaint concerning the service must be in the form of a letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the address: Nantes Private Chauffeurs, 7 rue de la Durantière, 44100 Nantes.

Article 5-1 Right of Access to Data and Privacy Policy
These General Terms and Conditions are subject to the provisions of European Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, regarding the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data. Nantes Private Chauffeurs collects your data via the website, reservation requests by email, or by phone.​​​

The sharing of data is only done with drivers to take charge and complete the journey (only name, first name, phone number, and addresses). Nantes Private Chauffeurs commits not to disclose your contact information to third parties, or for uses other than those related to the scope of communication related to your journey reservations. Nantes Private Chauffeurs only collects data necessary for the proper execution of your order (name, first name, address, email, phone, payment information). Nantes Private Chauffeurs does not record your banking information; it is not stored during an order. All information regarding your location, collected IP, preferences, only serves to facilitate booking operations and communication with you.​​

In accordance with the Data Protection Act (Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended by Law No. 2004-801 of August 6, 2004), you have the right to question, access, and oppose for legitimate reasons related to all data concerning you. Article 6 : Disputes
These general terms and conditions of sale are governed exclusively by French law.

The NANTES Commercial Court is solely competent in the event of a dispute or disagreement.

Article 7 – Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
The client acknowledges having read, at the time of booking, the general terms and conditions of sale.

Acceptance of a quote by the client and confirmation of their order imply the client's full adherence to these general terms and conditions of sale and the unconditional acceptance of all provisions stated therein.

Nantes Private Chauffeurs reserves the right to modify them at any time.
